I was doing a little reading over @ civicforums and came across an article that stated that Apple was planning on following the footsteps of mitsubishi and begin making non-computer related products, starting with the aftermarket automotive industry.

Upon some searching OP came across a few future ads for some of the new apple products.. Which starts off with a supercharger:

And goes on to a few other things:

I can't wait to see what they produce for your fg2's and hopefully, hopefully my em2.

Plus, don't you think it would be awesome to be able to hook up your iPhone to your obd2 jack and change your vtec crossover point, etc.? I think that the possibilities are endless with such a wonderful idea.

The auto industry crossed over into using computers to control everything, so why shouldn't the computer industry cross over into the auto industry? Makes sense to me.

Apple also has released a short ad to a new "toy" of theirs. I guess they want to market towards the adult "accessory" industry also.
