Bubbles and fouled plugs?

How do you get all the soapy bubbles out of your radiator reservoir?

Recently, I wanted to clean out my radiator and water passages so I poured about 10 bottles of Dawn dishwashing detergent into the radiator. It made everything nice and clean but now I have soapy bubbles pouring out my radiator reservoir. It gets sort of embarrassing when you pull up to a light and you see soapy bubbles oozing out between the hood and fender. It got so bad while I was stopped at a light, a bicyclist also stopped at the light, began to wash his hands in the soapy bubbles. He used his water bottle to rinse his hands.

Oh, and never reverse your battery cables on your battery, it fouls out your plugs. I only have one more plug wire to install, since switching out the plugs, to see if she'll fire up again after the fouled plugs.

Should I run the dishwasher on pots and pans or the normal cycle to get the plugs all clean again?

make sure to use the heat dry cycle on the dishwasher. You wouldnt want waterspots on the plug, that would be embarrising.

You think that's embarrasing...just wait until some soccer mom pulls up next to you in her van and the kids break out the slip-n-slide behind your car. Awkwarrrrrd

I'm afraid my heat cycle is broken. Can I put them in the oven? And what temperature do I set them at?

Can the mom have a wet t-shirt contest behind my car?

You could play in the bubblebath, provided you hover your radiator reservoir over a bath.

Seems there's no shortage of help on this issue. Kudos to the Ocho staff.

Set the oven to the broil setting and put the plugs on the top rack, they should be good as new in ten to fifteen minutes.

Actually, you'd better not.

The oven's self-cleaning cycle produces adherent photonic particles that cause premature metallic fatigue from within the plug's inner casing. Instead, try using a mother hen and place the plugs in with the other eggs she is incubating. Surprisingly, the hen generates the ideal ambient temperature for drying them out, and you don't have to wait for the eggs to hatch.

You're welcome.

so, 10 bottles is the magic number? I tried 9, but it did not work, and I tried 11, but then the car would only drive in reverse...
I'll tell you, the drive to work this morning was really interesting.
