Be Safe this 4th, and keep a garden hose nearby!

I know Marc already started a thread, but this one has a more serious note to it. Have fun tonight with fireworks and such, but be careful. It's been pretty dry in KY lately. Luckily we had a few days of rain last week. But, things can still go wrong.

Apparently some fireworks went rogue last night and caught a neighbor's garage on fire. Here are some scenes from my back deck.

Safety FTW... find a huge empty parking lot where there is nothing nearby to catch fire on, or something of that nature. Common sense people!

For real though, I do love fireworks

Aside from keeping a fire hose handy, please don't use commercial-grade mortar bombs tonight.

Yeah, that's pretty dumb. Where did she score commerical-grade anyway? I've seen on tv how those are made, and they're pretty big.

Everyone keep your head about you. :)

wow.. I was up at my buddy's cottage for Canada Day and a firework ended up landing on top of someone else's place before it exploded.. craziness, I wouldn't have expected the entire place to have gone up like it did.
