i say do suspension. its the most rewarding and you wont regret it if you ever feel like you wasted money because u'll always feel the difference. and you can also sell it to someone if you need money so its not a total loss

btw when i say suspension, i dont mean dropping springs. springs are like half assed suspension to me unless you get really nice performance struts which i still dont like. buy fully adjustable one piece coilovers. the performance is well worth it although the ride may be a bit harsh.

Adjustable coilovers are a waste of money unless you know very specifically what you want in a suspension setup. Higher spring/dampening rates alone don't make a car handle better. Nor do most people even take their car out on a track with lap times to even know what specific settings work and what don't.

How many people use coilovers instead of springs actually do so because they're unhappy about the dampening or rebound rates (heck, I'd guess most who talk about coilovers don't even know what those are)? Don't arbitrarily stick on the parts thinking it automatically means a better handling car. If you're thinking "I just want my car to handle better" then you should pass on coilovers, and figure out what specific characteristics you want to address. Spongy feel? Springs. Too much bouncing? Higher dampening. Excessive brake fade? Brake pads/fluid, etc.

It really depends on your priorities for how you should spend $1500. I'd first buy some lighter rims and nice summer tires ($1000). Then springs and a camber kit, putting slightly more camber up front than the rear to offset the factory understeer. ($4-500)

Injen CAI + Evo2 Exhaust + DCRH (or add a couple more dollars for a higher quality header) and save for reflash. That is what I would do.
