ethanol may take more fossil fuels to produce than just using gas. this guy seems like a radical who just says what he wants... especially bad since he doesn't have to answer to the public.

In Europe gasoline is already $6.70-7.00 a Gallon (Converted from app 1.20-1.25 Euro per liter). They do however have a lot more fuel efficient cars then we do plus a much better public transportation system which cuts down dramatically on driving. They also have been using alternative fuels for years such as Bio Diesel, Ethanol, Hydrogen and Liquid Gas (Not Gasoline). All a lot cheaper than Gasoline.

Apparently it has it's down side because there is no profit selling it at that rate and lots of gas stations are shutting down because they can't get anyone to work at the gas stations which can't make any money selling gas for 3 cents a litre.

Also Factor in to the above what the average person is making there, living conditions, how many residents actually drive etc etc.

I dont think anyone in the US wants to give up their 300 dollar IPOD to Download songs at 99cents a song or 99k M6

when they find out they could be living in Venzuela, making 40 cents an hour , humming songs for free, and thankful for the .14 cent gas they can buy to put in the car they dont have.
