does rum go bad?

Captain Jack Sparrow drank some rum that was probably years old. I'd say go for it. The alcohol in the rum will kill anything that might be growing in there.

I drank 6 year old vodka a while back. I dont think alcohol expires.

I don't drink but I heard wine can go bad after you open it, champagne gets stale even if you don't open it, and beer becomes putrid when it's lying around. Vodka and Rum last a long time once opened.

I think it can go bad. If you drink too much it turns into vomit.
