^ Normally, I wouldn't post something like this, but this is so typically CNN. This makes me angry because it's such rediculous reasoning.

Agreed. Of course an SUV will have better percentage gains over a Civic! LOL. The Civic already has good gas mileage to begin with.

That's just annoying. I'm sorry, but if a hybrid engine only gets 3 more mpg than a regular one, it's completely impractical.

oh yeah, that will save the environment, except for the fact that the acid in those batteries might be slightly more damaging than a little extra fuel.

I saw an artical the other day on tv about New York taxis goin all hybrid in a couple of years and its mandatory. The thing is there all suvs and your right they dont get no more mpg than a civic.
