I'm actually looking into getting my MBA from University of Phoenix in Marketing... talked to the scout over the phone... seems they have a 15 month program one night a week from 6-10pm my choice of the day... did you enjoy it?

UoP is handy for a few reasons:

1. Schedule
2. Typically a somewhat 'older' crowd with actual work experience. This makes discussions a bit more meaningful, rather than having a bunch of students talking only about theory.

Cons:

Just like any program, once you have your 'group' you will always run into one or two slackers that try to ride off of the group. Find them and remove them quickly. They are a drag on the group dynamic, and are often the hardest to get scheduled around for your out of class meetings.

If you are working then UoP can be very good in helping you move to that MBA, or other Masters-level degree. It is a LOT of work as the schedules are VERY short, but you get your degree quite fast.

Don't get me wrong, Temple is not bad, But I hated it. I was accepted into every ivy league school. but 40,000 a year was too much. So I settled at Temple.

Law school, I am thinking, Princeton, Villanova, Seton Hall, Temple, Rutgers, Widener. We'll see.

I'll make a car thread soon. Just saving money so I can pay for these mods. My credit card is is off limits now. spent too much.
