Meh. It was kinda an oddball to begin with, in an odd niche. Couldn't compete with Civic/Toyotas. Not that I woulda turned a free one down!

It was way too expensive and only available as a V6 engine.

I don't think they'll see a big amount of people crying about this.

They are going to put a diesel option in the Accord. This is going to be the bomb too. Diesels last longer than gasoline counterparts, have torque, and will get better mileage than the Accord Hybrid. Diesels can also be converted to bio-diesel. It would be an ideal commuter.

Interesting concept, but bad marketing, and poor implementation killed it.

Not only did it not really boost milage, but they did not advertise the extra power, and if you read the edmunds long term test they hated it. Apparently it is a PITA to drive at slow speeds.

I guess honda felt that the image was there to stay, and it wasn't worth continuing the Accord hybrid.



but disel, hmmm, turbo anyone?
