If pizza hut calls, go with them. You'll have a chance for tips and stuff and at wendy's you really won't.

depending on how old you are, i think you could do better than wendys. i work at a vet clinic myself, and am only 16. not the greatest pay, but not too bad. plus, they dont care if i call in sick or whatever. very nice people to work with and a fun job. (i work in the kennel part).. however, im on summer vacation from school already, and am only having 5-10 hours a week which is pretty sad. so im looking for another job (two jobs for me). i dont know what places hire at 16. today i tried a coffee shop, min. age was 18. then pet supermarket said they werent hiring, but gave me an application anyways. but i checked out a cat they had there, and it had shit all over its cage, when i turn in my application, im gonna tell them "maybe you should do your job and clean that cat's cage." and then i tried kilwins ice cream/candy. they arent hiring.

I probably could do better...but I just really want a job...I mean it's not THAT bad working at a fast food joint...

A lot of my friends bus at local restaurants in the area. I know some people who work at a nearby ice cream shop and you could probably get a job anywhere as a cashier... My one friend works at Abercrombie and Fitch...god I would not want to work there...but I guess it's cool as a job to certain people... I know a someone who works at subway and someone else who works at quiznos. It's hard to get a more comfortable job when you don't have a lot of experience like me; I went to the outlet and just went to all these, pretty much random, stores and asked for applications...I noticed that next to none of them even replied to me...

I'm 16 too BTW...this will be my first "real" job...the only other "job" I had was delivering newspapers through a motor route with my mom...

well the good thing about working for wendys is you will get a real taste of what work is! In the end you want to wearing a suit and tie, and relaxing thinking about where your going to plan your next trip.. trust me work does not have to be hard.. good luck growing up kid..

ps while you are young you should eat healthy also.. trust me on this
