iPhone: June 29th

As some of you may already know, maybe because of the commercials, the iPhone will be released June 29th. I don't know exact details as to where exactly they will be available, Apple stores for sure, I don't know if At&t will have any in at release. I would assume they will be getting some in. For any Apple fan this is pretty big news, or anyone that is looking into a new phone.

Just wondering if anyone will be waiting in line for one of these, or plans to buy one in the future. I myself am going to try and wait for one, and possibly just sell it to a friend or someone that wants one. Once I get my hands on one though, it might be hard to let it go after that.

The only reason its Edge and not 3G is because of battery life. If it was 3G, and you lived in a 3G area, you would be lucky if you got 1 hour of use out it.

im due for an upgrade in August and will probably go with the Cingular/ATT 8525. it should be runnin windows mobile 6 by then. the iphone is just a glorified and overpriced ipod that happens to make phone calls. theres so many better smartphones out there(HTC, i-mate, e-ten), people just dont know about many of them because theyre advertised to the more tech-savvy user, not the mainstream market apples going for. anyone who pays 600 bucks for the iphone is insane. its going to be just like the razr when it came out. now you get one of those POS's for free with a plan.
