How serious are you two?

^Agreed. She's going away for 3 months? Best present you can get for the both of you is to break up until she gets back.

once you hit the 1 year mark.. u probably want to do the yearly thing.. or youre gonna go broke.

for 1 month. a nice dinner at a decent restaurant (dont blow your cash at some fancy one, and u dont wanna look like you're trying too hard). maybe her favourite one? be genuine with everything too!

+1
Try Too Hard = Makes you look desperate. (you do seeing that you smiled after you said GF, first one?)
Desperate = She's gonna break up with you.

An anniversary every month

Bro, you need to wake up just a tad bit. I agree that a break until she gets back is probably your best bet because you guys don't have that much time on your relationship. Don't get too involved when she's taking off for two months.

Monthly anniversaries FTL! When Cait and I met it our first "anniversary" was 6 months, and then a year. Now we are about to have our two year anniversary, nothing in between.

That'll work. Some of us like to spoil our girls more than others

Guys. Here's a tip.

If you give a gift (flowers, jewelry, cards, etc.) once, women expect it. A random gift means that you think about her without it being a special occasion.

Just a thought...

Sure. It's ok to be a bit naive. Just keep it in the back of your mind. Remember, she might be a bit naive, too. She might have higher expectations than you.

Just keep your eyes open. And have fun, too.

I told my b/f I don't do monthly "anniversaries." Every 14th I just say, "It's been X months. I love you X times more, too."

6 month "anniversary?" Maybe a nice dinner. A year is prolly another nice dinner and a card or somethin'. I guess I'm just one of those low-maintenance chicks.

And why gotta wait for anniversaries for bedroom time?! I need it daily almost!
