What a Day!

Well yesterday was definitely a day to remember. I got my first ticket in 2 1/2 years, and he was the nicest cop that I have ever talked to. Got an 80 in a 65 (he could have written me up for a lot faster). I was on my way to the coast to ask my girlfriend to marry me, and she said yes!!!!!

And I got the best gas mileage that I have ever gotten in my Si, 30.8! Shell FTW!!!

Well, I was doing 80 for the most part, but I accelerated to about 95 to pass a couple of cars before the highway went back to 1 lane. And just the way he talked to me just a very personable guy and his exact words were "I set the cruise at 80 and you just started to pull away so I'll just write you up for 80." When he said that I had a huge sigh of relief, should only be about $200 for the ticket and traffic school, not too bad.

Congrats on the engagement. You should have flashed the ring to the cop or told him you were going to propose. He might have let you off. Oh well like the cop said $200 bucks and some traffic school.
