Ray Ban Wayfarer Sunglasses

they were a symbol of high fassion in the 80's and I want a pair real bad. Has anyone on here fallen under there powers?

They are the classic "cool" sunglasses. They look good with just about any style you rock. I've had multiple pairs of these over the years, and just got another one when my other shades were stolen. Pick them up. You'll be glad you did. Plus all the cool cats over the last 50 years can't be wrong...can they?

no i did not think so either.....there is a doctors office in town that sells raybans...i am going there tomorrow to see if they have any I could try on...

Hell, you could even go to Wal Mart, or Target and try on the knock offs just to see if you like the style on you.

in all honesty, we had them at the sports authority about 3 months ago for like 35 bucks.. ray ban and everything. i'll see if we still have them tomorrow when i go back to work

I just wouldn't be able to rock those around. I see girls wearing those big glasses... but I just couldn't pull it off.

if i bought them they would be my first ray ban sunglasses..i am not really brand dependent...really my favorite pair that i wear daily are eddie bauers actually....and the others are brooks brothers....

The pair I used to have was sold on ebay several years ago ... they had the tortoise colored frames (the black frames were more popular).

I've had three pairs since the late eighties -still love 'em (ditto for Adidas, Pumas, and Nike)! Very classic look, they've been around since '52. They're as American as t shirts, blue jeans, Corvettes and apple pie. Actually, t shirts are a European invention (go figure) and dugarees are Indian.

I've seen some people wear it around and pull it off quite nicely. My brother actually has an original pair from the 1980s and I think it's hilarious. Unfortunately, I can't pull off anything of that nature. I'll stick with my Ray Ban Aviators.

i own 2 ray bans ... more modern styles ... but they only see the beach days or really really bright days ...

well i went over the eyeglass shot and checked them out and really liked them...went up to counter to pay and they completely blew me off....their loss i guess.....110 bucks that they did not receive because of not wanting to help a young person....really surprised me...i was in a suit after just getting off work and they did that...really shocking...they knew i wanted service had wallet out and everything...oh well....bought them off internet...they will be here tomorrow or friday

they came in....i like em'...good buy i think...they are the "New Wayfarer" they give them a thinner frame to look a bit more modern
