Red face I just dropped my phone in the toilet...

Well, the title says it all...good ridence i say! It's a LG VX5200 flip phone (verizon wireless) which has now met its demise. That thing has been haunting me for the longest time because it was so damn behind the times.
Here's what it looked like

Glad you were able to retrieve your piece of sh!t from the toilet!
That's real fear that I have since I keep mine in my shirt pocket at work.
If you have insurance with Verizon (about $5 per month) they will fix or replace it no matter what.
Many phones come with a white dot under the battery. If it gets wet it will change color and they will know that you got it wet.
I just replaced a Verizon phone and had to buy another one outright (no insurance). Don't expect to pay less than $130 without renewing the contract. Sure as hell got insurance on this one!

I'm on a family share plan with 3 total phones. Will this affect the entire plan?

No, typically insurance will only cover one line.

JUst don't turn it on, pull off the battery and let dry for 3 days. That might work...

I have 3 phones on family plan too. They give you 25% off of a new phone if you renew the contract. He said it would be renewed just for that phone but I don't see how that would work since it's one of the secondary "$10 additional line" phones. I just spent $150 for a new Samsung with camera plus they charge $20 to transfer the number over.
The phone being replaced was a Motorola V335 with VZNavigator, internet, etc. that we didn't need on that line anyway.
Like I said, I got the insurance this time. Anything can happen to your cell phone (as you know)!

Am I allowed to post pictures of poop in this thread or will someone cry wolf? They made me take them down from my intro thread.
