Why is it that every woman/girl on car forums...

ALWAYS (Ok, 99.59% of the time) have to have "girl", "grl", "gurl", "chick", or some variation of a word / name to let EVERYONE know that they are indeed a female?

At first I didn't even notice it, but reading through a lot of threads from some women on here, it seems like a LOT of them go out of their way to let everyone know that they are in fact a lady.. Is it me, or is it kind of lame when you have to go on a car forum to see how guys will e-flirt with you?

there are a few girls on here who don't have a name like that... but that is true for the most part.

Haha I had my ex-gf as my avatar for a bit, but then we broke up so down she went. Sorry for the confusion I caused anyone

Back to topic though.. it's also annoying when I was reading through the "current bf/gf/husband' thread, some chicks on here were commenting negatively on other women.. when those women were better looking then them

I've noticed that too... lame, stupid(and sometimes ugly) girls do that kinda stuff so then a bunch of guys who are on a forum with all other males usually end up drooling over them just because they have a vagina. Those girls must have the philosophy that when you have nothing else to compare against a piece of sh*t will look like prime rib.

Not sure why girls put "chick" or "grl" after their name. I think it's because there's so few women who love cars (my b/f says I'm obsessed). So we like the attention???

I've been mistaken so many times as a male, but it doesn't bother me. I've tried the "chick" or "girl" after my name and gotten wayyyy too many weirdos who want your # or a cyber.

Why doesnt everyone just fill out the box that says "name" so that under your avatar it says your name? Would make things alot easier lol.

This is where I'm going to get flamed, but I must post it.

I think this IS why women do it. Some girls just like the attention. Sure, they may think it's gross and tell them to f off, but they're prolly just sitting there smiling thinking they're hot shit.

I'm too lazy to find links in the thread, but I clearly remember one post from 'atruhondagrl' making fun of another chick who isn't that good looking.. but to be honest, she's better looking than atruhondagrl is.

There's also another comment from (I believe) one of the Sichicks commenting on how sleezy some of the girls looked. Jealousy runs rapmant it seems, when they see all these guys drooling over those pics and not theirs.

Mostly I've just been getting sick lately of how certain women (names will be withheld) have been asking stupid, stupid questions that clearly shows they didn't even attempt to search, and then they play it off like they're being all cute and whatnot and no one calls them out on it because they're a girl.. but if I were to do that.. my first 5 responses would be..

Search!!

You lazy SOB

Search is your friend, noob

Damn noobs...

Noob just got

My name shows that I'm a girl but being as it's "mama's~honda", I don't get hassled at all.
As for jealousy and bashing, just not for me.

You can replace "female" with "***" in the original post, too.

Who cares, I guess is what I'm wondering.

It's just a screen name.

No offense, but with the "MAMA" in your name, you're kinda viewed as "off-the-market" for the median age group of this forum, I think.

Just my interpretation.
