I am so old that I already forgot all the ones on there that I don't remember (did that make sense?) However, my memory is still good enough for 19 of them. Some of those things were during my dad's lifetime.

1. Going to the matinee for $.50
2. Cork seals in bottle caps
3. 56 Chevy was a new car
4. HONDA was a motorcycle and not a car
5. Beer with out pull tabs or twist off tops
6. When beer cans were not aluminum and crushing them by hand meant something
7. $.12 gallon for gas
8. McDonalds Hamburger 10 cents fries 5 cents
9. Riding trains to Los Angeles (steam)
10. Greyhound & Trailways were the most popular means of travel
11. Jackie Gleason was not a rerun
12. Not having reruns
13. A tune-up was points, plugs, condenser, rotor, cap & wires
14. Country Fairs
15. Hay rides (with horses)
16. Hand cranked homemade ice cream
17. Ramblers with pushbutton transmission

and much more

Holy crap. You remember Jackie Gleason on t.v. with new shows? I'm impressed. I was proud of my 10 but jeez. You go man!

Holy crap. I remember when gas was $ .25 to $ .28 per gallon, then we'd still drive around in our 6 mph land yachts to find a station that was a penny or two cheaper. Unbelievable!
