Can some people here recommend some music. I have most of the "big name" bands. I'm lookin for something maybe less known. There was a post a while back saying all the new music is starting to sound the same and I'm beginning to agree with that. It doesn't matter to me if it's old or not. I hate searching for music for hours on end only to find half of what I got sucks.
I listen to alternative/rock, rap, hip-hop, country (not the type where his dog gets run over, his wife left him, etc., The happier kind).

That's a good list, but he says he already has all of the mainstream stuff. This whole list is mainstream. I think he's looking for something more "not known to all".

Doesn't sound like your too into metal/hardcore which is my music of choice but here are some good semi-unkown bands:

-Circa Survive (just came out with new CD)
-Saosin
-the Almost
-Coheed & Cambria (I know the other guy listed c&c but his list was HORRIBLE and filled with garbage, check these guys out, you will either love them or hate them)
-Chiodos (these guys kick ass!)
-At all Cost (will also kick your ass lol)
-Funeral for a Friend
-Scary kids scaring kids
-Symphony X (metal but no screaming, new cd coming soon)

If you do want some metal bands I have tons, but I left metal off this list for the most part because you do not seem that interested.
