First Bought: 1972 Datsun 510 (very used, 100K+ miles, in 1979)
Much Later Bought: 1972 Datsun 240Z (in 1992)

Both Datsuns died of North East Rot disease. I think a single tablespoon of Morton's Kosher Salt would doom Datsuns of that era.

As a kid, I wanted a 1994 Camaro SS. I ended up with a 1990 Olds Cutlass Ciera. Perhaps a little different, but I have driven a few Camaro's in my time, and I realize that the engine is about the only good thing about that car, and now I don't want one anymore. Though the new ones are quite tempting.
