Body Builders, what's the best lifting gloves?

So I just got back from the gym and my hands are hurting

I know I could have probably lifted more if it wasn't for my hands.

Which lifting gloves do you guys prefer?

I use the Harbinger wraps. Some peeps dont like them cause you have to wrap and unwrap them as you lift and rest but they work really good. Excellent wrist support and they save your hands!

Dont use wraps or you'll forearms will become weak. Just get gloves that only cover/cushion your palms. I use harbinger

i have these and they work well!

dont get the ones with the zipper, as they tend to unzip when you curl your hand.

What do you guys think about these? http://webcast.bodybuilding.com/fits...ftingstrap.wvx

I won't use them all the time but only when I need that extra help to get that last deadlift set in optimally, or isolate the back on seated rows, etc.

+1 You need to feel the weight in your hand. Get yourself some chalk like power lifters use, put it in a small tupperware container and carry it with you to the gym. A few guys at my gym do this and I used to use it back in the day. Gloves are for sissy boys

dude you can't use chalk at many gyms so when youre doing pulling exercises like on a back day you may need gloves to some degree if you are doing heavier weights!

Your forearms will in no way get 'weak' if you use wraps. There was a debate about this a year or so ago in musclemag!!! Wraps provide the BEST support when lifting. Unless of course your a moron and wear them all the time wraped up,......

these aren't going to stop pain in any way.
if your hands hurt and u think that those will fix the problem then its a hand strength issue that you are having not discomfort from the weights.

gloves will provide cushioning from the metal bars, those will help with fatigue in the forearms and allow you to do a few more reps.

I used to wear gloves to protect my hands but i found my grip wasn't as good on the bars which made me feel unsafe almost. I then went to wrist wraps to help with heavy lifting (primarily dumbell press') as i had weak wrists. I also used the wraps you had to wrap and unwrap for things like deadlifts and low rows for my heavy lifts but only on occaison. I have since gained a lot fo grip strength and wrist strength and no long wear anything at all.

Shameless plug, yesterday i got a new personal best decline press at 320lbs for 3 reps . woot woot. :)
