Cure for the Itch???

I was working the other day down in some woody area and I managed to get into a good bit of poison oak. I was wondering if anyone has any remedies or fast cures for getting rid of this?

i found this:

About 15 percent of the 120 million Americans who are allergic to poison oak, poison ivy, and poison sumac are so highly sensitive that they break out in a rash and begin to swell in 4 to 12 hours instead of the normal 24 to 48. Their eyes may swell shut and blisters may erupt on their skin. A shot of corticosteroids will bring the swelling down.

Nah, not that bad...just some bumps..and really itchy.

very hot water.... and i mean as hot as you can stand it

...run it over the affected area constantly, like in a bath tub or a sink, hold it there, and you will feel the itch and burn and your skin will turn pretty red...

...dry off the affected area and that should cure the itch for about 3 to 6 hours i believe.

I know this because i am very allergic to the stuff.

remember, the pee is sterilize, so its clean.

Actually, no. Pee is sterile.. and it's a base (opposite of an acid). Even still, a strong base can burn you, but not pee.

My entire face swelled up like 2 weeks ago... I wasn't aware I was allergic to penecillin (i know its spelled wrong) The Doc gave me some steroids and I was fine in an hour.

Use a hydrocortizone cream on the skin and intake antihistamines like benadryl. It'll be gone in no time. If you want prescription, the doctor will probably prescribe you some steroid pills.
