8th civic vs. other forums

I know I am kinda new but I just wanted to let every 8th Civic member know that I enjoy being apart of this site!

I was apart of a similar site, where all they do is fight with each other , the topics always go on tangents that ultimately lead to more fights. The mods are very "clique-ie" (mostly bc I know of them in real life), and delete users threads if they plain just don't like the person. It is a bunch of nonsense, most of time when you post something up it was ignored and you got replies that were off topic, and NOT HELPFUL! It was more of an online popularity contest then anything else!

I know not every forum is like that, and yes there are some other good ones out there...but...I believe they are getting harder to find.

Here I feel like I can express my opinion and join into conversations and feel like my thoughts are respected and welcomed! Even if someone disagrees with someone it isn't escalated to an unreasonable level. Also, I see that the mods are quick to disperse a fight, as well as able to get the conversation back on track.

It it was possible I would give every member +1rep!

Anyone else have some stories about other forums they have joined?

I agree, this is a great site, although no site is perfect. I tend to read the same comment from others like yourself.

The local city forum has so much garbage and insults that they created a "Smack" forum.

i like this site for the same reasons as above, but i also like this site because when i sign in every day thier are like 17 pages of threads. some of the other forums i'm on i could not check it for like a week and thier is only like 3 pages.plus this is one of the only forums where most of the peps on here are willing to help you out.

i agree, i really like this site too. It definately has a more profound sense of community and camaraderie compared to some of the other sites i've been whose threads usually digress to arguing and bickering. Everyone here is real friendly, no one seems too egotistical or try to act like they're better than anyone else.

I really like this site also. i find people are pretty helpful and knowledgeable and the flaming is minimal copared to other boards. It also feels alittle more mature compared to other honda boards.

overall

I just go on that site for fun. Theres so much members & nonstop activity and funny posts.

But if I want actual information, I'll usually use this site. But CRSX does have some members that are really knowledgeable.
