Bullitt has THE original car chase... if i remember correctly, Ronin car chase was based on the Bullitt chase.

Steve Mcqueen is my hero!! I love this movie when i was younger since I was a muscle car fanatic back in the days.

2 great car chases. Ronin has some great scenes in it.

One thing you'll notice, if you compare the movie posted, to the movies of today, is editing. You'll notice that bullet has such long scenes between cuts. Look at bourne, or Ronin and the editing is very quick, lots of jumping from inside/outside the car, different angles. It makes the "action" just seem much more intense. Watching a car go down the street fast from one shot in bullet doesn't compare to the quick scenes in ronin or bourne.

But we all have to agree that this movie was an original

When I clicked on this thread, I was waiting to see something else so I could suggest Bullitt... but nevermind

I bought this movie b/c of that chase.
