A couple of points.

You have every right to be pissed. They do this promotion so they should honor it, period, end of story. Fuk them and I wouldn't go back.

I waited tables years ago, and you have to realize waiting on the general public in any capacity gets old fast. Yeah yeah, I know they took the job and all, but in many cases its' their best option.

Lastly, fuk all convenience food, all of it. I much prefer no one prepare my food but me. It's cheaper, healthier, and it tastes better.

Definitely. Crazy thing is I may not have even gone for a freaking free slice, BUT my dad asked me to go, so I went to get it more for him. I hadn't eaten anything yet, so why the heck not, it's free.
And trust me, I'm not going back

In addition to parenting, it's also a person's inherent attitude that judges whether they are a f**k up or not. I'm extremely polite to everybody, even though I don't care about the people I'm valeting for, working with etc. etc. just because that's what I feel is right. Some people have a high and mighty impression of themselves and don't feel like others are due any respect, but it's impossible to point the cause of this to "freedom" or "the american way". I was raised with plenty of freedom, but my parents kept reinforcing to me that even though I have all this freedom, I shouldn't abuse it or let it get to my head.
Well, if everyone in America were like you and I then I wouldn't think that American's had way too much freedom.. but a majority of the people that I encounter daily act as if the government owes them something, and since good ol' Prez Bush obviously isn't going to pay up they use the ridiculous amount of freedom they have and exploit other freedoms with them. I think that the constitution should be completely revised and have quite a bit either excluded, or to have fine print throughout the whole thing so people don't just try to scam their way through life based on the freedoms that we have.

Basically, I think that if everything had stayed exactly how it was in the 70's then the world, not just America, would be a better place. But the lack of respect for the freedom that Americans have has become a cancer on the world. For example, there is a man in Oregon I believe that actually has a website that he goes around and takes pictures of little children and rates on a scale of 1-10 on how sexy they are and gives a description as to why these 5-6 yr old children are sexy.. he also just goes through peoples photobucket accounts, etc. and steals pictures off of there to post on his site. He can't be put in jail because his "constitutional rights" protects him and allows him to do sick and disgusting things like this. Freedom of speech has been taken waayy too far in the past 20 or so years and it needs to come to a stop.. but there is no stopping the beast that America has created. It's everyones freedom to own a gun (felons excluded) and yet people wonder why there are literally 10's of thousands more gun deaths in America yearly when compared to europe, canada, etc..

Basically, I think that the amount of freedom that Americans have been given throughout the last 25 or so years has made it virtually impossible to stop disasters from happening. Which by disasters I don't only mean acts of terrorism, but the decline of civilization in general.

I'm sorry that this post was so scatter-brained.. I'm talking to my g/f about some things on the phone right now so I just kind of typed this out in sections without giving it my full attention.. Plus, I'm just plain tired right now.. I will be able to explain this a whole lot better tomorrow probably, given I have the time.

As for complaining to the Sens. I think an e-mail could be a good route.
In my research the last day or so, I came across a complaint from the guy who back in 2002 (not sure if he still is) was the VP of Sales for the Sens and the (then) Corel Centre.
Basically he took his kids to get free slices after the game, only to be told that they didn't honour that during the pre-season, even though it was on the ticket.
He called to complain and basically when he told them who he was, the customer service rep didn't believe him and was quite rude.

His point was, either honour the promo or scrap it; to which I agree 100%

Dude, if I could rep you over and over for referencing short circuit like that I would.

Short Circuit owns all these b/s movies that are coming out today. That's just awesome right there.

[edit] BTW, you stole my old avatar.
