the sway bar is done... i have the sway bar. infact, i have had it since last april. i guess they are just touching up on a few things. as for an intake, yes they have been working on it for awhile and i'll get it. i have an SRI and its great, the CAI is great but for these cars the HP numbers just aren't there with intakes so comptech is the way to go. HP will be around the same im sure but its alot cooler air for these S/C. I almost bought the Mugen till i called nate last week.

YES! people this is all true. a week ago me and Shad were talking from driving ambitions about doing an ACM box and tuning the stage 2 so i called nate at comptech and asked if he still had some RSX injectors with the clipped tips he said no, but wait around shortly here because comptech might be opening. dont tell anyone yet... i'll post more about what is going on later guys. This whole time they cut hours alot there but there were still machinists there working on parts so some stuff was still getting done. it was just about catching back up with payroll and debt.

Oh boy. This is good and I'm really happy to here it.

Those of you doubting TypeX and this news, don't. One thing everyone ought to know by now is that he does not b.s. or blow smoke up your butt. He's been around in this community for a lot longer than most of us have. The dude just knows things. So sleep safe knowing that Comptech will not become a thing of the past.

OT, but, I looked at the dynos for the previous ice box's and they were kind of dissapointing. So why does everyone want one? Just curious, not bashing.

Back on topic - Yeeeeeees, my SC dreams are still alive!

Agreed. But most people like it because it still makes the car look stock however for that look/money/performance, mugen wins.

Don't want an SRI (heat soak) or CAI (hydrolock/bumper removal PITA) and I need more air for Hondata.

I can't consider Mugen until someone finds out if it will fit the coupe.

Because it makes power without making sacrifices elsewhere. CAI's make high-end at cost of low to mid. Both SRI's and CAI's have higher temps than stock airboxes. Icebox gives less HP, but across the whole RPM range, and without the heatbog you can get from SRI's.

The Mugen intake is essentially an Icebox, so the results might be very similar.
