What does a stop sign mean?

Its added for emphasis, I guess that area gets alot of stop violation infracments

Yea that does make sense. I remember now down that street a bit theres 2 sets of added speed bumps. I never knew why they added it. Maybe for ppl tryin to cut around traffic down side streets.

I think the 4-way sign throws people off so they have to add the additional small sign. Around here no one unterstands that 4-way means everyone has to stop.
