Sentra goes BOOM!

Here is my old Sentra. It was a 2006 and I had just put that HKS exhaust on there.

Turns out that I hit a small piece of re-bar that punctured the gas tank and luckily I was close to home and able to get out before it "blew up". The gas tank on these cars is not shielded very good at all. This is what the fire investigator told me. The re-bar was still sticking out of the tank when they towed it away.

Me and my dog made it out OK, and our house was OK, just some driveway damage that I still don't have fixed yet.

Thank God for gap insurance.

Actually with a Stock or SRI you'll still hydrolock.

True it is possible. But if you do with stock well, they really can't blame your intake. Lol. And if you do with an SRI, you are in some deep deep water and you'll probably have bigger issues than just hydrolock.
