Great book

Has anyone here read The Kite Runner? I just finished it over the weekend, and I'll be the first to say that I dont enjoy reading books, but this is an AMAZING book.. Its addicting and hard to put down. Horrible scenes, but yet so real. I highly recommend the book! Oh and the movie is being released 11/2/07.

it's a fiction book i believe, however it may be based on a true story, but im not sure. it takes place in the middle east areas (afghanistan, iran, meshawar etc.) and its mainly about a kid and his friend and they fly kites and it leads to the main character's friend being raped and he watched the whole thing, and he doesnt tell anyone, the friendship falls apart and then he tells the story from 25 years later. its such a good book and is inspiring. i dont want to give too much of it away, but i highly sugest you all read it! it reads quick since its so interesting. best book ive read by far.

it's an ok book... there are few others i like more but nevetheless a good read. red it like 3 years ago.

This is going to be tough. I've never read a book in so long. In high school I relied on coles notes!
