haha.. if i walked past that guy.. i probably wouldn't even know it was him.. heck.. the only "celebrity" i've ever encountered in real life was probably rj de vera.. he came and ate at the restaurant that i used to work at.. i served him his food too.. i didn't realize who he was until my co-workers told me

lol nice pic chris. The training camp for the skins is right down the street from me so every morning during camp I see about 50 guys running down the side of a rath major road. Seems pretty dangerous to me if there are any angry cowboy fans driving around...lol

Steve Buscemi is a cool actor. He also has the unmistakable face that's easy to distinguish.
Living in L.A. though, I run into actors frequently. I once ran into Sylvester Stallone at the Beverly Center Mall, Eddie Griffen at a special showing of Deuce Bigalow, and a bunch of others randomly here and there. In the fifth grade, I had class with Laila Ali (Muhammed Ali's daughter who is boxing now). We were pretty good friends. She was the tallest student in the whole school at about 5" 7 (that's pretty tall for a fifth grader) and she use to give me all these free memorabilia of her father like a Superman vs. Muhammed Ali comic book, an autographed poster of him, etc. What was really cool though was that he use to come to our school for Open House. He was well into the stages of Parkinson's Disease but was still very funny and great with us kids. I haven't kept in touch with her since elementary school but wonder if she'll still remember me. |

Seeing a "celebrity" in person is kinda a weird feeling. I met Lil Jon and the Biker dudes from American Chopper (don't know their names) at the Magic trade show in vegas. Even though I Don't give 2 squirts of p!ss about them I just found myself staring at them all mezmerized for some reason... I dunno, guess I was "star struck"

Jerry O'connel used to film stuff in my area when i was a kid and always loved him in sliders. So when I saw him in LA that was pretty cool. The only bachelor series I like was when his brother was the guy hehe. Colin is cool but no as cool IMO. hehe.
But I've seen a few in LA and NYC. Even some in TO. I've met most of the older Blue Jays, and a bunch of the Raptors and Maple Leafs! |
