Quite Pathetic

So I was unable to keep up with my *** marriage thread the past 2 days and have since gotten a PM informing me that the whole thread was deleted because of offensive posts and such. That pisses me off because I was several pages behind and now I won't be able to freely read people's opinions because of a few worthless attitudes. Can anyone tell me what types of things were said and what direction the thread took for it to be deleted?

I should know but like I said, I have been loaded with work the past 2 days...

As previously stated (http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37937), it's a shame that your thread was deleted because I agree there was good, intelligent conversation going on.

However, the exchange was getting heated and people were starting personal attacks and such, which is unacceptable.

All I remember is that there was a lot of very good, intelligent posts towards the end, that were plagued with some not so-good posts. I know a few of us really put a lot of time and effort into crafting responses for that thread and I am just as upset as you are, trust me.

Damn that blows. I can't imagine there ever being something posted in a thread that would cause people to be so shallow. For the most part, people don't know who they are talking/arguing with and that a forum is about freedom of expression. It sucks. And the worst part is that the mods. were right in deleting it at the time...as much as I hate to admit it.
