but seriously, sanjaya is perfect proof that American Idol has reached its peak on television and should just stop. Most of the winners fail in the business anyway. I think its stupid how the singers get WAY more attention when they were contestants on the show than when they actually win. A perfect symbol of the unattainability of the American Dream (if you recall those books in high school: Mice and Men, The Great Gatsby LOL)

sanjaya is pathetic...but then again, so are most of the singers today. I say singers lightly because most of the schmoes need machines to make them sound good. Sanjaya is getting the *** vote...he'll be around another few weeks.

Ok I will admit, I do not like Kelly Clarkson, but shes making money
Fantasia..seen her live when i saw Kanye West and she can f'ing SING her butt off.
Taylor Hicks...hes just that, a hick, and he sucks. lol. But Katherine McPhee, the runner up is killin his sales. Ruben Studdard, his album always sold well and now he has a gospel album out and although i do not listen to his stuff, the proof is in the numbers. I cant stand sanjaya. he was ok, but not top 10 material. So I dont waste my time on him. He probably will win, and if so I wont watch the show again. But I think it is kind of corny, no offene to anyone, to just jump on a bandwagon cuz someone says to support him. It is actually funny how these ppl on the band wagon dont realize American Idol has its best rating by far cuz now so many other ppl want to watch the show that never did just to see sucky sanjaya, yet there raising ratings. My point: ppl want to vote like crazy so if he wins the show will have a chance of ending. Probelm is u ppl are raising ratings...the shows not going anywhere.

I stopped watching because this is just another example of Americans making a mockery of voting.

In a matter of two weeks, this show went from somewhat respectable in terms of voting people off who suck, to making Sanjaya go last to make sure the ratings keep up and people keep tuned in.

I wish LaKisha and Melinda the best. The others can rot.
