As the father of two college age daughters I can't imagine the pain the families are feeling. Our prayers are with them all.

My thoughts and prayers are with those familys and friend whom are affected my this heinous act of violence.

Everyone wants to be a part of American history, and no one wants to work hard to do it. It takes one selfish, disgusting, and crazy person to take the time to do something like this. America needs help. We blame the parents at times for not being in the childrens lives as much as they should. There should be no blame. Schools need to act when things happen, and not take the political route of covering up small, and subtle acts of violence in school. As far as I know they still have yet to release info on the shooter(s). Well if it is anything like Columbine, the shooter(s) may have been bullied. Do people think what bullying does to children? Do you guys/gals relize there is a new term called BULLYCIDE? It is suicide due to bullying. Seriosuly...google it. Im sorry for going on and on, but being a criminal justice degree holder, this really just touches the heart. Parents and teachers alike need to be in the childs life more and more. Unfortunatly due to most familes having 2 working parents this is not as eay as it used to be.

Kudos to the parents reading this and are staying part of the childs life. Kudos to those raising a child alone. Kudos to good parenting. I hope this tragedy makes people re-think how much they are in their childrens life.

To the familes, friends, alumni and faculty of the school-
Stay strong, stay focused and you will prevail.

my condolences

What do you expect theres an 8 million page article from yesterday where everyone already gave their condolences to the families.

But since this is a new thread, I will once again say that my prayers and condolences go out to their families. I hope I never live to see another massacre nearly as brutal as this.

There is no amount of threads that could amount to the loss and pain that they went through.......
