I think this guy is confused?

I was looking at autoanything.com, because I am getting ready to buy the K&N sri for my EX. So I decided to read the reviews to see if anyone had done this yet with an 8th gen, and I found this...

Review of Typhoon 69 Intake for my civic
Posted on 04/09/2007 by Wayne O. (Woodland Hills, CA)

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.

"I frankly was quite dissappointed to learn later that this product is not approved by the Califoria Emissions law after being told my one the 800 line customer reps that it was "Smog" legal and is not, I even called K & N in California and spoke to a rep and was told that it is still pending approval. I do like the intake, but I really don't know that it boosts my horsepower at all, I already changed my stock exhaust system and got an additional 28 horsepower but the intake itself did not improve my horsepower that much, but never the less I am "happy" with the 69 intakek, I had it professionaly installed my own mechanic so everything is correctly installed, it took a little over an hour and the instructions were not that easy to follow since the pictures were not that clear. I only have the single overhead cam 1.8 liter engine for the EX model, but overall I must say I am please with the performance, I now have about a 175 horses, that's combined with the my exhaust system I got done at a custom header shop."

he really is confused, he seems to be now talking about a full stable with 175 horses. I don't think he even knows what HP means. Maybe he think its like a capital asset and you add the cost of the product to hp of the car.

Although if hes feeding his horses car exhaust then he's not gonna get a decent ROI

I think he has an exact mathematical formula!

Figuring that he spent about $280 for this "exhaust" since it was done custom...

$280/10=28 x 1hp (conversion)= 28hp/$ and then just drop the dollar sign and you get 28 hp...

Then he spent about $140 on the intake (hey it's imaginary) but since it didn't have any butt dyno hp you have to cut the gains in half so 14hp/2=7hp

140+28+7= 175!!!
