*sigh*
some of us can drive stick you know
That being said, I know some males that can't, as in, do not possess the coordination.
My advice... well, maybe you shouldn't. Honestly, sometimes it's better to have someone not in the family, or a boyfriend teach it, less pressure. I took one lesson, I don't know it was $60 I think. It's worth the $$$

But I figure you want some so you're going to do it anyways.
I say, tell her to read. Literally reading the mechanics of how the stuff is working I think really helps.
Also, watch videos of it, that also helps.

I hope she's going to put it to good use because she's using your car to learn on. Bring her out to a parking lot and just teach her the basics. I've found teaching girls is a lot easier than guys. Guys have this crazy heavy foot syndrome or something. I've seen my friend try to learn and it was a total disaster.

yeah get her the lesson first, then let her drive your car after...

don't make her wait too long or she may forget if shes not putting it into practice.

well, that's great that she's learning how.. I fully appreciate that my girlfriend hates automatics and wouldn't buy one if her life depended on it.

Dont let her learn on your car!!! Even though my boyfriend tought me in his i learned quick but my suggestion dont do it, my lil siter wants to learn and would probably die first than let her drive my car, i dont fell like replaceing my clutch or have the patience to teach her either

I have fights with my g/f all the time about this... My advice from experience get someone else to teach her and not on your car. I literally feel bad for anyone that drives my car while I am in the passenger seat (not many) because I am probably one of the most critical people especially when they are driving my car. I hate it, they hate it... So what's the point.
