Man this thread grew over night, i still suggest a tattoo for your girl friend missing wiht a girls nipples is not a good thing i mean eventually shes gonna have to take them out for breast feeding in the later years but i am not tooo for fond of that area for piercing, i still suggest a tattoo, but thats my 2 cents

well, it was her idea and she wants them really badly.

what most of you dont understand, is that our freinds and everyone we know are pierced and tattooed all over. no were not gothic.... but its not such an outlandish idea. were used to tats and piercings, they are a very normal thing for us. i have a couple tats and did have my ears quadged to 00ga. dont anymore because its not alowed in police work. the artist said that this is a very very common piercing and more women have them than youd ever expect. his wife has them and so does his secretary. his wife has had hers for like 15 years and has had no lose is sensativity. the artist said that there are 7 milk ducts in the nipple. and when you pierce it you destroy 1 of them, maybe 2 at themost. that leaves 6(usually) milk ducts still in tact and able to breatfeed.

if she decides she doesnt like them, then they can be ramoved. piercings arnt perminant. Alli had her lip pierced but had to take it out for work and the hole closed up w/o a scar. i feel pretty confident in this. and it is what she wants

I understand completely about the clique situation. I came from a hardcore background too, so I'm 100% used to seeing multiple piercings and full sleeves, etc. My only thing is that it's a little different hearing from a guy that's job is to sell you his services that it is safe, rather than to hear it from a doctor. You might find out that the guy has no idea what he's talking about, you might find out that he's 100% correct and it's a safe thing to do.
Maybe I'm just a little more cautious, but I would never do something that could potentially effect my girl for the rest of her life without exhausting all of the possibilities of what could go wrong. I'm not saying that I care about my girl more than you care about yours or anything, I would have no way of knowing. But it seems as if you love her very much and you're a good guy, and if something did go wrong you would kick yourself for it pretty hard. I know I would.
