Commuter woes

So as a student that commutes to class I often have time to just sit in my car and work on homework, and get caught up on my Sirius programming...
I also try to sleep... the Civic driver seat is kind of uncomfortable, I do my best to get comfortable but to no success.. any ideas. . . and no going home is not an option, too far to go just to come back for another class...

you want to know the best way to sleep in your car?

i dont think any one can tell you that....if you are tired enough you will just fall asleep.

well i figured that someone would have a 'secret' way to fold a seat/turn around/ open trunk/ close the trunk.... then there is a magical bed arranged... this site is good for knowing things like that

yes!....that will solve the problem that you are having of the discomfort of the front seat. your darker windows will magically make the front seat more like a bed

serioulsy...the best you can do is recline back and if you are that tired you will just fall asleep. otherwise kill some time and go

buy an Xterra and hold the back seats down and then fold the passenger seat flat and you have a very nice bed =p

I often sleep in my car ebcause I commute with a friend to work but he has to be here an hour before i do... First off, take the headrest off the seat makes it way more comfortable... I know what you mean about the seats not being that great for reclining in because they have the big ole hump in them so I just recline a little bit. But seriously take your headrest off it makes a world of difference, it did for me anyway.

You need to find the most deserted floor of the most deserted library for sleeping purposes.

^Yeah, why don't you just go to the library instead to do your work and/or go to sleep?

im in the same boat as you. i have another semester before i can stay on campus. if you wanna sleep in your car if you got tints it would be soo much easier. i have tried layin down in my car and it sucks cuz u cant get comfortable. i say go to the library where they have those huge couches or atleast find one of your friends within the dorms. i would just drive around/library . cuz i find it too hard to sleep in the car when other commuters are walking by your car looking in

I went through this last semester, had like 2 hours in between classes. So I would usually end up gettin something to eat, wander around campus, maybe do some homework or studying in the library, or just go drive around. I had a friend with a dorm but he was always working.
