Ditch that sampler and get yourself a nice mixer.

I prefer Vestax or Pioneer

Without my sampler, I can't make beats.

In the future though, I'm definitely getting a vestax or a rane. I've been eyeing Serato Scratch Live for awhile now, and Rane makes an incredible mixer with the SSL hub built in. Right now though, this setup is all I need. I'll be getting a MicroKorg in the next few months, that'll be my next toy. New rims got to come first though

More solo recording.. never mind the crappy drum take.

Alright, that does it.. You're officially the coolest cop ever.

To op, I play guitar. I've been playing for roughly 10 years. I've got..

A takamine acoustic
takamine electric acoustic
fender electric acoustic
Ovation electric acoustic
and my baby... a custom fender fat strat from Corona California.. Coupled up to my line 6 amp that thing is a dream. I've got too many pedals to list.

ahhhhhhhh I envy you. I've always wanted to learn how to play violin, but I've taught myself how to play every instrument that I can play. I taught myself piano (I'm not good at all though), guitar, bass, drums, and I've made a beats using samples and loops. This way of learning DOES NOT work with violin.. sounded like I was killing 4 generations of the loudest cats in the world when I tried. lol.

I'm a Band Director at a private school in Cali. My principle instrument is the alto sax but we had to learn all of the band instruments in college; flute, clarinet, trumpet, etc. And yes, I'm also Asian :)
