I have no sympathy for the dumb ass driver given it was due to going too fast in the wrong area. If anything I hope he rots in hell for taking an innocent person with him.

I'm sorry, but these don't tend to get much care and emotion from me as it just makes the roads that much safer for me to drive on.

i wouldnt jump to conclusions.. how do u know the passenger didnt pressure the driver to hit it up to over 70mph? I do see your point about them carelessly driving though.. but i dont think now is the time to bash them.. id just keep quiet if i had negative comments about their carelessnes in this situation

I wouldn't jump to conclusions too quickly. They said he was going 70...70 is not far off from 65 (assuming they were on a 65 road...)...It might have just been a plain old accident. If he was going 100 I'd pretty much agree with you.

Well, it all depends here. I mean most trailers are in rural areas where the speed limit at a minimum is 55, but up to 65. I've never seen 70 unless it's complete desolation...

I don't know of too many residential areas with 65mph speed limits.

If I'm jumping to conclusions than you are too. Saying that most trailers/mobile homes are in rural areas is a bit of a stretch. I don't know how things work there, but here we have entire neighborhoods of trailer/mobile homes that are classified as residential areas and thus have speeds limits set accordingly.

Also, Magnolia Avenue is a bit of a stretch for a rural highway is it not?
