Dreams do come true...

So ever since i was young I have always loved cars, Porsche's to be exact. A few years ago I decided I wanted to become a mechanic and in the back of my mind I always though it would be cool to work on Porsche's but never really though that would happen. Well just last year I started going to college and enrolled in the auto program.

Recently I have been looking for jobs to get my career started. So just this week I started going around to all the local deanships and applying for jobs, but wasn't having much success, so today I walked into the Porsche Audi VW dealership and filled out an application thinking that i would most likely be turned away from this rather high end dealer seeing as how I have only minimal experience and schooling. Anyways I gave my application to the service manager and interviewed with him and to make a long story short they hired me on right there as an apprentice technician and said that they would pay for all my specialized training . Needless to say I was very surprised and excited....When I started applying for jobs I had very low expectations but In the end It worked out very well. Anyways I'm excited and just though I would share.:)

Well quite frankly the nature of Audis and VWs requires them to hire as many mechanics as possible because they can't get enough of them.

But im just Joshing you, good job man!

Wow... Congratulations!

Same thing happened to me at Kodak... minimal experience, but I got hired! 1.5 years later, I'm now getting a promotion

Congrats again!
