atruhondagrl, what do you mean by boyfriend hopping? On another note, I think she lost all her interest in me when I told her I live with my parents. FYI, she lives by herself and she's younger than me. Well, you get the message, it makes me look immature. Guess what she said to me today.

Me: I like it.

Melanie: What car did you used to drive before.

Me: A Corolla.

Melanie: It must be much more fun to drive than your old car eh?

Me: Uh, yeah.

Melanie: Did you get your car right away.

Me: What do you mean, right away. I had to go to the bank and get the money. (after I went back to work)


Hmmmmm... Why would she ask me did got the car right away? She probably wanted to know if it was really urgent or something huh? There's no question why she asked what I used to drive. Man, kinda shallow huh?

If you giggled at your own joke and she didn't giggle in a non-awkward way, it's likely over before it started.

And the living with the parents thing is kind of a turn off, but let's face it, with skyrocketing prices in housing, a lot of people go back to living with their parents after college until they find their own place...no matter how long it takes.

Boyfriend hopping= girl goes from one boyfriend to another in rapid succesion out of a) a fear or being alone b) has some issue with sleeping with a guy outside of a relationship.
