The extent of my training was, "get out there and take an up." The crash course seemed to work for me, high gross for the dealership in my second month.

I was trained under the "APB" training program....Automotive Profit Builders. I work for one of the top two Volvo Dealers in the country! I make a happy living selling Volvo's, but make a happy life driving CIVIC'S!

I would love to be a car salesman, I have to be honest. I really am passionate about the cars some companies make. I could be a killer rep for Scion, Honda, Pontiac or Chevy.

But salesmen get such a bad rap .

I've been in the car business for about 5 years now...And I still get up an hour early on Saturday mornings to attend a Joe Verde training course offered by my dealership....it's always good for a refresh. Although I do hate getting up an hour early on Saturday...wish they would switch it to Monday or something..
