Loud Explosion on the street

Scariest thing ever,

I was just walking down 42nd street coming back from a meeting with a co-worker when suddenly the bus driving next to us came to a stop and his engine blew up. seriously, the reprocusion (spell edit) literally knocked me over. Louder than a frigin morter during the 4th of july that you can feel in your body. My ears are ringing a bit. it must have been the engine cause there was a pile of crap all underneath the back of the bus.

I am just calming down now. I grabbed my co-worker and got the hell out of there lol cause we had no idea if it was anything more than just an engine blowing.

anyone have a similiar story?

Well, like 10 years ago me and the family were chilling in a mall food court down in Maryland. It had this glass dome thing on the ceiling, that litterally stretched clear over the entire food court. Anyway, it had just snowed a little over two feet, and the dome was completely covered in snow. We were hurrying through our food because it didn't really look very stable lol. Anyway, all of a suidden we heard this loud "BOOM" and everyone in the food court starts freaking out. "OMG the roof caved we're all gonna die!" etc.
Turns out some of snow just shifted, and slid off the dome and onto the mall's roof. Really loud, but nobody was hurt.

After a little while people started realizing nothing had happened and crawl out from under their tables, laughed a little, and kept eating lol.

that reminds me, whenever there was a "bomb scare" in High School, they would move 4,000 kids into the gym! every single time. What if the frigin thing was for real and it was in the gym!
