What Do You Think Really Happens?

Okay, so this totally freaks me out...but do you ever just sit there...and think about ...SHIT..i'm gonna die one day...and then wonder what it's gonna be like?? I mean, besides the heaven stuff..what do you think really happens? i.e. Like a guy at work the other day..and this kinda got to me ..that's why I opened this thread...had a "near death" experience..and he said he was dead for like 5 minutes...and he said he floated away from his body...and then was being brought back to his body...don't know if I really believe him..but he's a pretty stand up guy...What's ur opinions? And does it really freak u out when you think about it in depth..I get this mad rush over my body when I think about it..I DON'T WANNA DIE!!

I was watching Discovery when they talked about Astroids, they said that unlike the movies we wont be able to hear it or even see it just bamb were dead. I think the worst death is being burned alive because once your nerves are burned you feel no pain but you smell flesh and see yourself melting also drowning

Honestly, I don't worry myself about things like this.

If it happens, then it happens. I just hope it's quick and painless.

yeah, Amen on the drowning...that would have to be horrible..I almost drowned when I was younger..my brother saved me.. :)

i have thought and all it did was slow my work down, so therefore i try not to. sure everyone will think about it at some point in time. just keep doing what your doing and hope if it does, its quick and painless like marc said. hopefully i will be with like 10 chicks and drinking an ice cold shiner bock when i go, and it will be instant. dont ponder death.

as for out of body, i dont know. i think it just may be your brain and optics shutting down or something. who knows.

death is one of 3 things in life that are CERTAIN....why be afraid of it? i know when i die i will finally get to see my dad again....therfore doesnt bother me...everything happens for a reason and when your time comes...well not much you can do...

dont think about it...live your life while you can, were only here for a very small amount of time

Or knowing the insane safety systems in our 8th gens, you would probably just be thinking about your poor car and how much it is going to hurt when the interior turns into a giant marshmallow.

not to get off topic, but has there ever been a test to see how fast and what size person it would take before the air bags were pretty much useless. meaning, that the velocity of the body and the speed at which the car makes impact, would the bag even do any good? sorry for the post jack

if your talking about every cars airbags, i dont think there is a point thats reachable by man...airbags were made to be fully deployed in under roughly 0.01 seconds

i think it would take a 200 lb man traveling in his car around like 300mph
