Glass "skywalk" extends 70 ft over Grand Canyon

This thing has apprently been opened to the public now. I can't find good actual pictures but the CNN link has a video of it....CRAZY. No way I'd walk on this:

"The glass-and-steel horseshoe extends 70 feet beyond the canyon's edge with no visible supports above or below."

Pretty cool but I don't know if it's worth the $25 to walk it and pee your pants.

I really do not like it. They plan on building hotels and what not around it. When I visited the Grand Canyon the thing that I loved was the fact that it was so quiet, and so much nature, I think people should try their best to keep it that way. I really dont think they should do this, my humble opinion of course.

Yeah it is nice there. I remember that there was a thunder storm on the other side of the canyon. Its pretty cool seeing the weather all the way across. You cant see that stuff in the city.

Wow... way to wreck a national monument.

I don't think any sustainability models or environmental impact forecasts were done on that project.

I'll take a walk with on that anytime, just give me the money to pay for the fare. I'll run, jump or whatever.
