Add the last 4 digits of your phone number >6. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number again. >7. Subtract 250 >8. Divide number by 2 > >Do you recognize the answer ?? |

Let A = first 3 digits of your phone number Let B = last 4 digits of your phone number Write out the whole equation and include quotes to help separate the formula: (((A X 80) + 1) X 250 + B + B - 250) / 2 Multiply out: ((A X 80) X 250 + (1 X 250) + (2 X B) - 250) / 2 then ((A X 80 X 250) + 250 + (2 X B) - 250) / 2 then ((20,000 X A) + (2 X B)) / 2 divide out: (10,000 X A) + B therefore, the "trick" works with any 7 digit number QED |
