projected numbers after tuning for the r18 kit is estimated at 210-220 whp. About 90 whp gain from bone stock, for $3250. Not bad imo

I think that everything was settled with ajp (questions, concerns about the kit) and they went back to work on the projects that they have. They're not exactly a company like greddy with 1000 employees.. they're just a few guys in a shop making a kit that puts down some serious power. As for that kit goes, everything has been disected and I think at some point in time every potential flaw for the kit was revealed.. The only 2 that I can still see is the lack of fuel filter and the tune.. maybe the placement of the MAF.

And as for unwarrantied.. the comptech kit was warrantied through honda for a while, and look how that turned out. :gaygiggle: At least alljap cut to the chase and started on the same guidelines it will end at.

First off: Nothing against you Firm.

Is all I have to say about AJP and their excuses about not enough employess or whatever is

I'll just keep the rest of my thoughts to myself. I would caution the people here to read up on Batang's issues, the fuel return issues, etc...IDK about you guys, but that sh!t is just plain not cool...expecially for the stacks that they charge for their kits!

It's all good mane.

I think that they charge a little too much for the kit.. but they have the leverage(sp) to do so as long as they are the only company laying down those kinds of numbers with an fg2. It's not the best way to do business, but it's definately the most popular.

I also think that it's a little odd that batang is the one and only member that has had a kit with so many problems. I don't think that the kit itself should be judged by one bad seed (the kit, not batang lol) and people should look more towards the many happy customers instead. Thinking that all ajp's kits are bad because of one having issues is like saying every black person is a murderer just because OJ is.. It was just one case gone wrong.
Also, I don't know if he was being serious or not, but BCJ made a few posts saying that it was his install that was incorrect, not the kit itself.

I think this kit + kpr0 (when finally released) = pure fg2 gold. Well, at least for those of you that own fg2's and don't live in cali.

Actually several other were having issues with the kit too. I'm too lazy to look for the post right now, but I assure you there was at least 3 others having the "car dying issue" and other issues I believe. I'm just trying to warn our fellow members. I know I'd be one pisses SOB if I spent 7k+ on a kit and it did not work 100% correct. No excuses. I agee, however, that the kit does put out amazing #'s and the fabled k-pro (should we ever see it) might alleviate these issues. I don't know if you read Hondata's post re the i-pro (or whatever you want to call it), but they have no definitive date yet for release. I would suspect that we are quite some time off from seeing this come to the forefront...if ever...

I'm just saying: don't count on i-pro...
