Spring Break Past/Future

Yep...saw that...and we just had a surfer get bit on his forearm this past weekend too...minor injuries but still.


I don't worry about these things...but I am cautious and aware of them. I don't do stupid things and it pretty much keeps me out of trouble. Not to say it couldn't happen to me....

i have yet to go on a spring break trip... i will be going next year though.. friends that back out of plans last minute suck!

We had 4 shark attacks around here last year...1 in Destin...and 3 here locally...Destin is about 6 miles away, it's where the ridiculously rich people live :)

my friends are famous for that!!!! i think we have planned 3 or 4 spring break trips.. all of them cancelled like 2 months before it was supposed to happen

I've been to Cabo and that is an amazing place to go! Me and my friends went on a booze cruise where you could drink as much as you want, they fed you, took you to go whale watching and then we went snorkeling. I want to go to Cancun but one of my friends said that it was super expensive BUT me, my boyfriend and his family are hoping to go on a cruise next year around spring break time! :)

me too.. hopefully this cruise works out.. so far it is me and my boyfriend and maybe my friend and her boyfriend.. but he promised me if no1 else went we will still go

That's cool! Well I hope that it works out! Spring break is one of the funnest times to travel. Especially with kids that same age who are in the mood to party!

only 22hr till i leave for my spring break trip

During my college years, we didnt have semester and quarters and stuff( we went to school year round, and on weekends), so about 2nd year in, the usual spring break time fell around the same time as ours.

I spent 4 days out of 5 working, finally got Tuesday off. Had to head back to class on Wednesday morning.

Well I decided to go drinking with a few buds at their crib by the school. It started small..

and we just had a few beers.. then shietload of people came over, over the course of like 2 hours. We had like 25 people in a tiny apartment. We were all pretty broke( or at least people were pretending to be ), so all we could afford was like 6 gallons of vodka. We spent all the money of vodka, no chaser $$ left over.

So someone had the bright idea of making vodka tea. <-- wtf right?

We dumped about a pound of Crystal Light raspberry into a giant wheeled cooler. Dumped in the vodka, then some water. Mixed. Now we had a portable cooler full of vodka. So we started going from house to house on the block( all the school kids live there), I had about 6 cups fulls and was pretty drunk already, when we got to this lady's house. I say lady because she was like 30 something. Couple of us knew her from school. She joined in on our shenanigans and like a hour in i was handed a huge handle of Crown. I watched her chug for like 5 seconds so i figured its nothing i couldnt handle.

I chugged for about 5 seconds.. and.. after that i dont remember much.. just tipping over alot..

Anyways, I wake up at sunrise on the lawn down the street from my school. Im damp because in Colorado we have this weird ass morning dew that just gets on everything outside. My car is like 10 feet away, I guess i didnt make it(probably a good thing). I fell back asleep, and what felt like 5 minutes later someone woke me up:

"Chinaman, you ok?"

me:"...yeah."

"Did you pass out, out here?"

me:"yeah."

"Well.. you coming to class?"

me:"......yeah".

So, my classmates on their way to class, woke me up while i was just lying around outside, picked me up, and dragged me to class. Needless to say i was very, very hungover.

Worst spring break ever.
