Stranded on desert isalnd...what music would you pick?

Ok, so your stuck on a desert island. You can choose 8 albums to take and one book. You will be given a copy of the Bible, Qoran (sp?), Torah, etc. in addition to the book you decide to take.

Here's my picks...

1. Bjork-Post
2. Bjork-Medula
3. Radiohead-The Bends
4. Wu-tang-36 Chambers
5. Astral Projection-In the Mix
6. The Misfits-Box Set #3
7. Rea Kwon-Only Built 4 Cuban Linx
8. Jane's Addiction-Nothing Shocking

Book: The Heretics Handbook of Quotations

Have fun!

No music listening, I'd be tearin that Ipod or whatever player apart to rig up a proffessor style radio transmitter to get my ass off the island and back into my luscious Nighthawk Black Civic and back to civilization.

(8 cd's to make a wicked reflector thingy, hmmm... that would work... and that book sh33t_0f_p4p3r brought.. getting off o' desert islands for dummies)

1. Metallica - Black Album
2. The Beatles - 1 Greatest Hits
3. Notorious BIG - Life After Death (Does this count as 1 cd or 2?)
4. Dr Dre - The Chronic
5. Bon Jovi - Crossroad (Greatest Hits) I'm a Jersey guy so this is a prerequisite.
6. Disturbed - The Sickness
7. Richard Cheese - The Sunny Side of the Moon (I'll need some laughter)
8. Garth Brooks - Double Live (Again 1 or 2 cd's? Technically its only one case)

I think I have a good mix of everything. As for a book...... War and Peace. I figure that's long enough to keep me interested.

All I listen to is Korean, Chinese and Japanese pop. I bet anyone stranded with me on an island would probably kill themselves if I brought 8 albums of Asian pop music! Yattttttta.

Hopefully I would have my i-Pod, and wouldn't have to decide. However, I could be happy with the complete collections of Beethoven, & Creed. I love the subtle beauty of Beethoven, then the punch from Creed.
