I just bought the Navman F20. Nice system... got it from www.mwave.com
But the TomTom One just dropped in price as well. The i5 is WAY TOO SMALL!!! and Magellan 6000t is $$$$$$$ The only downside of the Navman that I found is that the speaker is a little soft. If you have the radio cranked and cruising with the windows down you can't hear it at all. But really if your lost or trying to find your way to a new place who's jammin to the radio anyways. Honestly if the TomTom One was as cheap as it is now, a month ago when I bought mine I probably would have bought it instead. But the Magellan 6000t live traffic fxn is a def perk!!! but for ~500 dollars I'm not sure it's really worth it. The Navman is coming out with a live traffic fxn in the next few months so that's something to look forward to. How much are you looking to spend exactly? |

How often do you think you'll use it?
I always wanted one but then last summer got a new Motorola GPS cell phone when I switched to Verizon ($29 buy one get 2 free!). I've used it several times and it's great. I just type in the destination and she (woman's voice) tells me what to do each step of the way. You don't even have look at the screen but there are maps if you like. BTW, it's $10 per month or $2.99 (I think) for 24 hrs. |
