Cops Bust party - 25 arested

So here is the story, i look out my window and see 4 cop cars and a PattyWagon... I look closer to see that people are getting arested.... first 3 people then 8 people.. and more and more....

I had my own episode of cops right out my window... lol

just had to post sumthing about it... lol

you live in a college town? haha. wow..usually cops don't interfere unless lots of noise or something.

Well i thnk it has to do with a story i heard about a mnth ago, 4 teens died from drinking and driving from a party like this... so there really anal about them now, just think if something happend to the kids and someone called about it the police would get some sh!t about it!!!

I go to the University of Minnesota, and off campus housing is literally inches away from campus, and we have the UMPD (University of Minnesota Police Department) called the Party Patrol. They spend so much of their time going around and busting parties, or harassing anyone who even looks or is presumed to be tipsy and is walking home from parties. Literally, we get thousands of MIPs (Minor in Possessions) handed out every semester because of them. I understand they are just doing their job, but I'd like to see them doing more about the incident, say, where a guy walking home in a not very good neighborhood of off campus housing was beaten with a bat and had to have thousands of dollars of reconstructive surgery.

Took them ages to get to him because their priority is Party Patrol > Injury.

Jesus! Almost every party me and my buddies have the cops show up (noise). We're in there gettin' wasted as hell with beer and pot. Everytime the cops are really cool, always appologize for the inconvinience and just say to turn down the music (and I know they can smell the weed)...I guess we're lucky here...

Haha university of maryland is so funny. Parties are usually never busted here, and everyone walks around drunk in front of cops all the time, it's hilarious. BTW, if you do happen to drink and drive....STAY in the right lane. And go the speed limit, just keep repeating that to yourself.

I mean, people drive after drinking all of the time. It's the people who are trashed and convince themselves that they are fine that run into others and kill people. I'm not endorsing drunk driving whatsoever, but I've been in positions before where my friends drove when they probably shouldn't have, and all I could tell them was to know how much you drank and how much it has affected you and drive accordingly.
